Which hair is better? Brazilian vs Peruvian vs Indian vs Malaysian hair

When it comes to picking the best hair types and hair origin, it all has to do with an individuals choice. Although all hair types are not equally the same, and different hair types possess different qualities, virgin Brazilian hair comes on top as the number one choice for women around the world.

How do you make a decision on the origin or type of hair to go for ?

Brazilian hair vs Peruvian hair:

Brazilian hair is thinner in texture, and has more luster than Peruvian hair. Peruvian hair on the other hand is silkier, thicker and more coarse in texture than Brazilian hair.

Malaysian hair vs Indian hair:

Malaysian hair is much heavier and thicker in texture than all other hair origins, but it is soft and silky. Malaysian hair is softer and silkier than Indian hair.  Indian hair is bouncy, airy, and light even though the hair itself is not as soft or silky as Malaysian hair. Both Malaysian and Indian hair are the most preferred origins for wavy and curly textures, wavy for Malaysian and curly for Indian

Because Malaysian hair is heavy and thick, it holds curls longer,  and because Indian hair is strong, it holds curls very well. Some people also prefer the thickness, silkiness and shine of Malaysian hair for straight hair. Indian hair is only preferred for straight hair because of its high luster and airy, light, bouncy feel. However, Indian hair if bought straight, could be more time consuming to maintain,  as it has a natural wavier/ curlier texture than other origins thus, it may require more straightening.

For curly styles, we recommend Malaysian and Indian hair.

Please note, that a lot of straight virgin and raw bundles will have a wavy texture to them after being washed especially if not properly dried down.
